RECIPE: CHICKEN BALL DOG TREATS

I thought this was be a great recipe to try out, and share, as it’s simple and the ingredients used can be beneficial to your dog.

Ingredients needed:

  • 1 skinless chicken breast fillet
  • 2½ cups of oat bran
  • 3/4 cup of reserved cooking waterChicken Ball Dog Treats ingredients

Equipment needed:

  • Blender

Step 1: Boil the chicken in pot with water. While chicken is boiling, preheat oven to 180°C/350°F.
Step 2: Once chicken is boiled cut into small pieces. Also reserve 3/4 cup of cooking water from pot.
Step 3: Add the boiled chicken pieces and reserved cooking water into your blender. Blend into a batter-like consistency.
Step 4: Add 2½ cup of oat bran into the blender. Blend until all the ingredients are incorporated.
Step 5: Remove the batter from the blender and roll into balls. Place the rolled balls onto a baking sheet.

Step 6: Place in oven and bake for 30 minutes.
Step 7: Remove from oven and allow them to cool on cooling tray.

Final comments from the taste testers: They were too busy enjoying the food to make a final comment.
Keep refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
