I thought this was be a great recipe to try out, and share, as it’s simple and the ingredients used can be beneficial to your dog.
Ingredients needed:
- 1 skinless chicken breast fillet
- 2½ cups of oat bran
- 3/4 cup of reserved cooking water
Equipment needed:
- Blender
Step 1: Boil the chicken in pot with water. While chicken is boiling, preheat oven to 180°C/350°F.
Step 2: Once chicken is boiled cut into small pieces. Also reserve 3/4 cup of cooking water from pot.
Step 3: Add the boiled chicken pieces and reserved cooking water into your blender. Blend into a batter-like consistency.
Step 4: Add 2½ cup of oat bran into the blender. Blend until all the ingredients are incorporated.
Step 5: Remove the batter from the blender and roll into balls. Place the rolled balls onto a baking sheet.

Step 6: Place in oven and bake for 30 minutes.
Step 7: Remove from oven and allow them to cool on cooling tray.

Now time for the most important part, the official taste testing!

Final comments from the taste testers: They were too busy enjoying the food to make a final comment.
