If you live within or near the city of Moonee Valley, A J Davis Reserve is definitely a park you and your dog need to check out! Located in Airport West it is one of the largest off-leash, open space reserves in the area. It is also one of the most frequently visited so your dog is guaranteed to find another four-legged friend there.
While it is not fenced off it is well away from roads, and there is plenty of open space for your dog to exercise, play and run. It’s also a great option for people with dogs who may be a bit more nervous and need their own space.
The reserve features a creek that flows through it as well as a walking and cycling trail.
The ground is regularly used for touch rugby, cricket and dog training, but rest assured there will still be plenty of space for your dog to run around.
As at all dog parks your dog should be under effective voice control when off lead, and you should always respect the space of other dogs and their owners.
