Carrot/ Blueberry and Schmackos Ice Block
What you need:
–Containers of any size (available at all supermarkets)
–Any dog friendly food (I used Schmackos, carrots and blueberries)
What to do: Simply cut up your chosen food and place in a container, fill with water and pop in the freezer until it is frozen.
Doggy Ice Cream
What you need:
–4 bananas
–3 tablespoons of melted carob chocolate
–Blender or food processor
What to do:
Step 1: Peel the bananas and slice into thick pieces. Then put them in the freezer for 2 hours.
Step 2: Put the frozen banana pieces in your blender or food processor and blend.
Step 3: Add the melted carob chocolate and blend some more. Keeping blending until it looks like soft serve ice cream.
Chicken and Apple Ice Balls
What you need:
–Sphere ice cube mould ($2 from Kmart)
–Any dog friendly food (I used chicken and apples)
What to do: Simply cut up your chosen food into small pieces and place in the sphere ice moulds. Then fill with water 90% of the way and put them in the freezer until frozen.
Frozen Kong
Fill your dog’s kong with peanut butter, yoghurt or dog friendly ice cream, pop it in the freezer for a few hours then take it out for them to enjoy!
